Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve is a nature reserve located in Melaky Region, near the western coast of Madagascar. Nearly 400 animal speacies are listed in the park, and no less than 900 native plants. Furthermore, these diverse species are all endemic to Madagascar.

The word "Tsingy" is derived from a local word meaning "the place where one cannot walk barefoot. It is characterised by needle-shaped limestone formations, above cliffs over the Manambolo River. The incredibly sharp limestone formations can cut through equipment and flesh easily, which makes traversing them extremely difficult.

Two large rivers cross the park which are The Tsiribihina and the Manambolo. You will travel in a pirogue through these rivers. Trekking or bike riding through the plateau of Bemaraha. What's more, If you wish to explore the underground galleries of the canyongs, caving tours are also available.

It can be accessible from Morondava who is 150km from the south of the park, Moreover, Limited access is also possible from the town of Antsalova, which can be reached by plane from Antananarivo or Mahajanga.
